It was just last week that I was writing about the contentious divorce between Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann. There was a custody battle, there were gambling addiction allegations, there was debate over who would get the house, etc. Now, it seems, it was all for naught, because the Biermanns have called off their divorce just two months after filing.
Kim submitted the request last Friday for the divorce filing to be dismissed “without prejudice.” Kroy submitted the same request hours later. This comes after they were photographed going to church with their four biological children the weekend prior, which caused much speculation about the status of their relationship.
Andy Cohen was just as surprised as the rest of us. He explained his feelings on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live: “I was really surprised to hear Kim and Kroy got back together, especially after, like, a half-hour talk with her a few weeks ago, and it sounded like irreconcilable differences at that time.”
And that’s not all. Zolciak made a surprise appearance on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the show that originally introduced her to the world.
“We’re still married. It’s 11 years. We’re doing great,” was her response when someone asked her how she and her husband were doing. The current season of Atlanta was, of course, shot before the Biermanns originally filed for divorce, but the statement was just as questionable then as it is now, as the allegations about Kim’s gambling and the couple’s joint debts have been around for years. As was demonstrated when she was asked about rumors that she was losing her house.
“You think I’m gonna foreclose on my fucking multi-million dollar house for $200,000?” she replied defiantly.
At this rate, you’ll probably be hearing from me about this again. Watch this space, as they say.
