Jon Stewart returns this week with a mostly comedic take on Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech (he was a fan), on Katie Britt’s response (he was not a fan), and on the GOP’s absurd claim to be the party of “real Americans” and “the Constitution.”

The Constitution does not give the President full immunity or the ability to execute political rivals, as Trump is demanding. The Constitution does not give a President the right to be a dictator, even for one day, as Trump is claiming he will be. The Constitution does not give the President the right to shoot protestors assembling outside the White House, as Trump advocated for during his first term, according to his Defense Secretary. All that is “monarchy shit,” Jon Stewart says before getting to the point.

It’s a great segment, but if you only have a minute, jump to the 12:30 mark for the righteous rant and the message that everyone should hear, namely that Trump supporters are not patriots. They’re quite the opposite. “Next time you want to dress up for the rallies,” Stewart concludes, “wear the right f**king coats.” (See header image)
