I wasn’t thrilled when Jimmy Kimmel had the real Mike Lindell on his show. It was a showcase for the man’s dangerous lies. He even managed to look a little likable. Fortunately, the Pillow King of Minnesota didn’t exactly turn his image around. Plus, Kimmel is still taking shots at ole Lindell, with a version played by comedian and actor James Adomian.

In a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel: Live, Adomian made an appearance as Lindell. This time it was from a much more appealing location: jail. The real Lindell recently said that he had enough evidence to lock up some 300 million Americans. It’s another absurd lie by a man who dispenses them effortlessly. So, Kimmel had his Lindell decide to lock himself up in solidarity. it was pretty funny.

Adomian’s Lindell is unhinged in a way that somehow still feels believable; he’s eating cigarettes, drinking urine from a toilet, and dropping folksy similes. It can be hard to parody someone who is already so animated but Adomian does a fantastic job. Kimmel also works great as a foil. He seems genuinely perplexed by the man’s behavior.

I didn’t think I would like this sketch, but here we are. At a certain point, some things are just easier to laugh at.
