Last night was Jimmy Kimmel’s last show for a while as he announced — with Matt Damon taunting him from behind — that he’d be taking the rest of the summer off to “spend even more time with my family.” I’ve been doing this show for almost 18 years and I’ve done 3,130 shows,” he said. “There’s nothing wrong, my family’s healthy, I’m healthy, I just need a couple months off,”

In the meantime, he’ll have a “cavalcade of guests hosts” throughout the summer, who will all presumably be working from home, as well. Matt Damon, however, is not likely to be among them because — as Kimmel learns in this clip — Damon has been living in their guest bedroom for the last three months, sleeping with Jimmy Kimmel’s wife, Molly.

Good luck to those guests hosts. In the absence of a lot of new movies and television shows until production resumes, finding celebrity guests will not be easy.
