Netflix’s soft-core Sex/Life is not a good show. It seems to have been badly designed by the Netflix algorithm to exclusively capture horny and curious viewers with no real interest in the series’ entertainment value. If you like attractive naked people having sex — and nothing else — Sex/Life is for you.
To Netflix’s credit, tailoring to the algorithm has worked. Sex/Life has been among the top titles since its debut, because everyone wants to see Sarah Shahi naked and because everyone is dying to know just how big Adam Demos’ penis really is. There is a particular moment in episode three, at the 19:50 mark, in which the character played by Demos is taking a shower. He turns around and puts his manhood on display. The moment has gone viral, and from what one of Demos’ high-school girlfriends says, a body double was not used.
For those who haven’t seen it yet, I’ll give you a moment. Episode 3, at the 19:50 mark.
We good now? Great, because now you have contributed to the continued popularity of Sex/Life. Meanwhile, in what could only be described as an HR violation in any other workplace, Jenna Bush Hager dialed up that scene and showed it to her Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host, Hoda Kotb, and well, make of her reaction what you will:
What is all that clicking I hear? Oh, that is the furious typing of all of you who had no real interest in checking out that moment until seeing how Kotb reacted? The bounce rate on this post is going to be like 97.6 percent.
For those not familiar with Sex/Life, Demos plays a former lover of Sarah Shahi’s character. Mike Vogel plays her husband. The header is the exasperated reaction of Vogel’s character after seeing Mr. Party.
