“The Good Wife” is one of my favorite shows on television, a perfect blend of great acting, compelling plotlines, and rich, fantastic characters. It’s also a very sensual show, not just overtly, but in very small and subtle ways. The drama always has a knack for making me feel a little tingly, and aside from the fact that Julianna Marguiles and Archie Panjabi are very attractive women (and the male cast — Chris Noth, Josh Charles, and Matt Czuchry aren’t bad to look at either), I never understood where all the subtle sexual energy was coming from.
It all crystalized for me during last night’s episode, however. It’s in the eyes. Everyone looks at each other in this show with soft, bedroom-y eyes, even in the most asexual scenes. It doesn’t matter what words are coming out of their mouths, their eyes are always saying, “What time do you get off? I could really use some help removing my panties.”
