Last year Hulu took a shot at telling the true story of Candy Montgomery with Jessica Biel and Melanie Lynskey in Candy.

This year, David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers, The Lincoln Lawyer) is shooting his shot with an HBOMax limited series starring Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision) and Jesse Plemons (The Power Of The Dog)

Frankly, I have no idea how women like this have the time or energy for extramarital affairs, let alone axe-murdering people. But if anyone’s going to convince me to find out it’s the team of Kelley, Olsen, and Plemons.

Love And Death also features Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Tom Pelphrey (Mank), Keir Gilchrist and Elizabeth Marvel (Helstrom). It begins streaming on HBOMax April 27th.
