College students at New York’s SUNY Purchase discovered in a hole in a bathroom stall — a portal to another universe, or more specifically, a large hollowed out space behind the bathroom housing a garbage shrine dedicated Danny DeVito’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia wrestling character, the Trash Man.
The bathroom garbage shrine comes compliments of sophomore Phillip Hosang, who Vice managed to track down.
“I walked in there, and I thought that this would be just a really great place to put some weird thing that people could find. And from there I was just trying to figure out what I should do with it. Because of all the trash—if you know Always Sunny, you know that Danny DeVito is known as like the trash man—I was like, ‘This is just the perfect person to go with. He’s just weird enough that people would accept that this was a thing.’”
It is a goddamn work of art.

Unfortunately, the school eventually covered up the hole for safety reasons, but not before Danny DeVito himself took notice. He took to Twitter to show his appreciation and also preach some message about the environment that would get DeVito’s ass kicked by Frank Reynolds.
Your shrine honors me. My heart is filled with love and garbage.Tomorrow, as you may know, is my name day. Do something that makes you feel good. Above all be kind to each other. Pick up trash, recycle, and be aware of plastics in the ocean. https://t.co/UER6uZY886

A pro-environment trash man? He’s like the real-life Trash Heap.
