Brandi Glanville Has Always Been Headed for Ruin

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has been falling from grace ever since former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo sued Bravo for mishandling Glanville’s allegedly inappropriate behavior against her on the set of an as-yet unaired season of Ultimate Girls Trip. Around that same time, a professional butler hired by Bravo for another season of Ultimate Girls Trip also accused Glanville of sexual harassment.

Glanville responded to these claims by accusing Bravo’s gay uncle, Andy Cohen, of sexual harassment against her, and for being “taken advantage of” by the network. She’s doubled down since, claiming that Bravo “hung” her “out to dry” and essentially abandoned her while she was in need and experiencing ill health amid all of these allegations and legal battles.

Now, she’s blaming her ill health on them entirely, tweeting on Tuesday that she’s been left with “no choice but to sue Bravo” and claiming the stress of litigation has “ruined” her health by giving her “uncontrollable stress induced angio-edema.” She says the condition is so bad it prevents her from working and claims she’s being “USED AS A FALLGUY.”

This has always been coming for Brandi Glanville. We first met her as the scorned divorcee party girl on RHOBH, where she got in trouble for being…well, herself, and she’s ridden that wave of shock value all the way here, to the bottom of the barrel. The butler and Manzo are just the first people to really call her out for her behavior, which doesn’t mean she shouldn’t have been called out sooner. She is absolutely in a hell of her own making.

I have sympathy for Glanville, who has been a pitiful mess of a creature as long as she’s been on television, and there are definitely allegations made in lawsuits against Bravo that hold water, but this isn’t one of them.
