Avery Singer Can’t Get A Job Because Her Mom Acts Too Stupid On TV

Avery Singer, daughter of former Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer (a self-professed member of “the top 1%”), complained to Page Six that her brief appearances on RHONY are the reason she had to leave the finance industry.

“I have taken a backseat from the show for an extremely long time because I worked at Morgan Stanley. Like most of my finance career, I couldn’t get jobs because of me being associated with the TV show,” Singer scathingly stated.

Perhaps what she really means is that she couldn’t get jobs because of being associated with her mother and her mother’s behavior on the show, including her treatment of former cast member Eboni K. Williams, who was brought on for the final season of the previous iteration of the show as a desperate swing at diversity on Bravo’s part. Williams went on to make formal complaints about Singer, accusing her of making racist comments during filming, which led Bravo to conduct an internal investigation. There were additional crew members who filed complaints against Singer, but she was cleared of the accusations.

She didn’t let that slow her down. In November of 2021, Ramona Singer responded “So true,” to a tweet that compared COVID-19 vaccine mandates to living under a Nazi regime. This wasn’t the first time she expressed xenophobic views. In a scene at a Black Shabbat dinner on season 13 of RHONY, hosted by Williams, Singer proclaimed, “How about when I went to college, the Jewish people hated me?”

But back to Ramona’s progeny. Is Avery Singer suffering for her losses in the big bad world of finance? Of course not. She claims to not watch Bravo at all, even went as far as to say, “I’m now starting a company and I did most of that by myself,” and yet she has started a podcast with her mother, on which they discuss “personal stories and anecdotes from life now vs. life on RHONY,” and appeared on Watch What Happens Live as the bartender when her mother was a guest, to promote said solo business. So, she knows where the money comes from, and she’s cashing in.

Like mother, like daughter.
