One of the best series on Apple TV+ is For All Mankind, which just wrapped its fourth season, and those who aren’t watching are missing one of the most underappreciated series on streaming. The Joel Kinnaman series launched with Apple TV+ along with See and Servant, but doesn’t get the notices it deserves, despite coming from Ronald D. Moore, the guy behind Outlander, the Battlestar Gallactica reboot, and a whole bunch of Star Trek.

But this is not about For All Mankind, which you should definitely watch, but about Constellation, another Apple TV+ series involving space travel. The premise, at least from what we can tell from the trailer, is that a character played by Noomi Rapace goes into space, gets into an accident, and when she returns to Earth, everything is off a little, like she returned to a different universe and now all she wants to do is go back to her own.

It looks great. It’s good to see Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks, appearing in his first follow-up to Better Call Saul. Breaking Bad and Saul vet Michelle MacLaren directed the first two episodes.

Constellation premieres on February 21, 2024 with its first three episodes.
