Alycia Debnam-Carey Joins David Duchovny and Tea Leoni's Daughter in 'Saint X'

Part of the reason that Alycia Debnam-Carey won’t be in the eighth and final season of Fear the Walking Dead, aside from just being done, is that she was cast in Hulu’s Saint X to replace You’s Victoria Pedretti after she departed the series. Based on the Alexis Schaitkin novel of the same name, Debnam-Carey plays the sister of a Natalee Holloway-type character played by West Duchovny — the daughter of David Duchovny and Tea Leoni — who didn’t come home on the last night of their island family vacation.

Her death is called an accident, but Emily Thomas can’t shake the feeling that it was anything but, and so begins to investigate the case. The story, according to Hulu, “is told via multiple timelines and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.”

Saint X premieres April 26 on Hulu.
