After a seemingly eternal break between seasons, You’re the Worst returned to us last night, and in a big way. The premiere was a celebration of debauchery and grand (if misguided) gestures. Jimmy and Gretchen found out what it’s like when two pinless grenades cohabitate; Lindsay tried to make sense of her new single status the only way she knows how (read: doin’ it); and Edgar struggled with his newfound feelings for Lindsay.
Seeing as everyone found themselves starting this season in a new place, it makes sense that the episode was chockfull of life advice. Everyone had some wisdom to spew— some of it is profound; most of it is terrible. All of it is The Worst.
How to Keep a Relationship Alive
Do it for the sweater people.
On How to Fully Scam a Second Wedding
Love Is Not About Bagel Bites
Never Fall Asleep On the Job
Okay, this one is more of a life rule than advice, but I think it’s valid.
On Accepting a Challenge
And, Of Course, A Little Healthy Living Advice
Welcome back, You’re the Worst. We missed you.
