For those of you who have never watched Rick & Morty or The Eric Andre Show or Robot Chicken or The Venture Bros. or who have watched those shows on other streaming services and don’t own cable, The Cartoon Network — which produces animated fare for your kiddos, like Steven Universe and Teen Titans Go! — also has a block of programming on at night for adults called Adult Swim. Adult Swim is not new. It’s been around for nearly two decades and airs each night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

A Twitter user and parent who goes by the name Soonergurl (I assume she is from Oklahoma) apparently did not know this, and when she discovered that her children were watching Adult Swim (after 8 p.m., apparently unsupervised), the woman went viral with a conspiracy theory that the Cartoon Network is “conditioning” children with images of witches abusing babies. Soonergurl has taken her account private but there are plenty of screenshots:

The internet had a terrific time dragging Soonergurl, whose full Twitter name also includes III%er, a reference to the three-percenters, a racist, far-right, anti-government militia group recently pranked by Sacha Baron Cohen.

After the rest of the Internet had a good time at Soonergurl’s expense, Adult Swim also weighed in.

Many on Twitter (including initially myself) also believed this bumper to be real. It’s not. It’s fan made. It is also perfect.
