So Far This Just Looks Like a Gimmick Episode of 'Smash'
Grey’s Anatomy on ABC at 8:00pm ET. Two-hour 14th season premiere. I was recently rewatching the first couple of seasons and while I’ll never defend them as good tv, exactly (everyone on the show has the exact same syntax, even the patients of the week, and it’s weirdly distracting) but man does it remind me of all the things I miss and why I couldn’t keep watching after Cristina left.
The Vietnam War on PBS at 8:00pm ET. First season finale.
Thursday Night Football: Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers on CBS at 8:25pm ET.
Will and Grace on NBC at 9:00pm ET. Ninth season premiere. Something about calling this the “Ninth season premiere” when the show has already had a series finale bugs me. It’s fundamentally a new show. There was no intention to pick it back up over a decade later. The show was over and done with, and now there is a new show with the same title. I mean, if you were bingeing the seasons, don’t you think you’d notice a DRASTIC change between eight and nine and wonder what the hell happened?
Nathan For You on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET. Fourth season premiere.
