When a Pleasant Sitcom Insists on Having a Mystery

The Big Door Prize on Apple TV+ at 12:01am ET. While I generally support keeping Chris O’Dowd busy, I just couldn’t really get my teeth into this one. Mostly because of the mystery machine feeling like it was too central to the show.

The Mandalorian on Disney+ at 3:01am ET.

The Masked Singer on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Arranging the listings like this, I had a terrible thought of a crossover between The Mandalorian and The Masked Singer but thankfully I think that’s impossible. Also, a Mandalorian would be one of the least disconcerting masked entities to feature on the show even fully armed.

Abbott Elementary on ABC at 9:00pm ET.

Riverdale on The CW at 9:00pm ET.
