The Bad Seed on Lifetime at 8:00pm ET. Original telefilm. This is a gender-flipped remake of the original movie starring Rob Lowe and it is apparently not very good. But I don’t think anyone is watching Lifetime original movies for really good movies, and unfortunately this also sounds too restrained to be truly entertaining in that batshit crazy way some of the Lifetime movies can be.

Rel on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Series premiere. A new sitcom created by and starring Lil Rel Howery. It does not seem to be a sitcom about his TSA character from Get Out but is probably still good.

Sunday Night Football on NBC at 8:15pm ET. Oh look, they finally figured out when Sunday Night is.

The Deuce on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Second season premiere. Come for Maggie Gyllenhaal, stay for Maggie Gyllenhaal. I do wish they were giving Dominique Fishback more to work with but that would take precious time away from all two of James Franco’s parts so I guess we can’t have that.

Shameless on Showtime at 9:00pm ET. Ninth season premiere.
