High School Shows, the Actors Keep Getting Older but the Characters Stay the Same Age

Riverdale on The CW at 8:00pm ET. We are up to five seasons of this show now, which’s meant to be set in High School so how are they manipulating the timeline to keep the central characters in High School? Or are they not bothering? I’m not sure which is the better option, it seems to vary for each show, but I do know that attempting to send the characters to college almost always fails.

The Day Sports Stood Still on HBO at 9:00pm ET. 90-minute special presentation. This is about the first NBA game to be stopped for COVID-19 on March 11th, 2020, the role of athletes in the summer’s demonstrations, and the return to sports in the fall.

Resident Alien on SyFy at 10:00pm ET.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS at 10:30pm ET.
