Biography: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on A&E at 8:00pm ET. Two-hour special presentation. This guy was EVERYWHERE for a weird period in the 90s.

Bob’s Burgers on Fox at 9:00pm ET.

Confronting a Serial Killer on Starz at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. Anyone else getting a little uncomfy with how much “entertainment” is now centered around true crime and serial killers? I know it’s always been the provenance of channels like Investigation Discovery and other cable network add-ons but it really seems to have exploded lately and it feels a little… much?

The Nevers on HBO at 9:00pm ET.

Mare of Easttown on HBO at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. TWO actual scripted shows on HBO on the same night?!? Wonders never cease. This stars Kate Winslet as your classic police officer married to the job who puts everything into solving a brutal murder while her own life is falling apart. The concept sounds pretty pedestrian to anyone familiar with crime dramas but the cast is stacked, in addition to Winslet we have Guy Pearce, Evan Peters, Angourie Rice, Cailee Spaeny, Julianne Nicholson, and Jean Smart showing up.
