In this version, the main character is Nicky Shen, played by Olivia Liang, a college dropout who trains in martial arts to protect her community against a criminal organization.

Exterminate All the Brutes on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is not quite a documentary and not quite a narrative show, but it is about the Native American genocide and American slavery and how those events impact our present-day lives in America. It’s based on three different works, Exterminate All the Brutes by Sven Lindqvist, An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, and Silencing the Past - Exterminate All the Brutes by Michel-Rolph Trouillot. Raoul Peck is the director of the series.
