Dancing With the Stars on ABC at 8:00pm ET. New episode, special night. So it looks like we’re up to five participants who are veterans of other reality series or special which is, I think, a high for a show that still manages to attract genuine stars. Like, one of the Selling Sunset people is on the same season as a Backstreet Boy, Nelly, and Disney’s Skai Jackson. It’s a weird mix of people.

16 and Recovering on MTV at 9:00pm ET. First season finale.

Lifetime Special: Chicago ER Pilot on Lifetime at 9:00pm ET.

I Was a Teenage Felon on Vice at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. The tagline for this is “Former criminals tell the true tales of their rollercoaster ride from average American kids to wildly successfully outlaws.” My quibble here is: if they are felons now, I would not consider them “wildly successful outlaws.” Seems to me, being a successful outlaw means not getting arrested.

Kal Penn Approves This Message on Freeform at 10:30pm ET. Series premiere. The goal here is to address key issues that young voters are passionate about so that they’ll make an impact on the election. A worthy goal that has been attempted many times before, but I wish him well. I just feel like some of the issues young voters are most passionate about are not dying due to widespread climate change and pandemics and there’s not a lot of “break down” needed there.
