Was 'Jersey Shore' a Good Thing or Bad Thing for the Jersey Shore?

Jersey Shore Family Vacation on MTV at 8:00pm ET. Third season finale. I can’t believe that this particular group of people has managed to hang onto some kind of reality TV notoriety after all this time. The genre has come so far and done so much more, and yet here they are. Just a bunch of grown-ass adults trying to keep partying the way they did 11 years ago.

Bully. Coward. Victim. The Story of Roy Cohn on HBO at 9:00pm ET.

Top Chef on Bravo at 10:00pm ET. 75-minute 17th season finale.

House Hunters: Comedians on Couches on HGTV at 10:30pm ET. First season finale.

Syfy Wire’s The Great Debate on SyFy at 11:00pm ET. Series premiere. This concept started as panels at comic cons and is now in a televised format. Featuring “debates” over pop culture topics headed by actors/comedians/known individuals. The example I found on their website is “What’s cuter: Baby Yoda or a Baby Miyagi?” which is just nonsense (it’s obviously Baby Yoda, Baby Miyagi is just a normal baby) but maybe there will be some better topics to be seen.
