Katy Keene on The CW at 8:00pm ET. Series premiere. The Wikipedia summary for this show was baffling until I figured out it’s an Archie/Riverdale spin-off and so there’s a lot going on that’s already established elsewhere. Starring Lucy Hale as the titular character.

The Sinner on USA at 9:00pm ET. Third season premiere.

Indebted on NBC at 9:30pm ET. Series premiere. This is Fran Drescher’s new series created by Dan Levy and also starring Adam Pally and Abby Elliott. Drescher and Steven Weber play parents to Pally’s “Dave” who show up to live with him after they go broke.

Briarpatch on USA at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. Based on a novel of the same name, this is a revenge series with Rosario Dawson as the main character. Ana Lily Amirpour of A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night fame directed the first episode!

Tommy on CBS at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. A new cop show starring Edie Falco as the first female police chief of Los Angeles after transferring from New York. Because people can only be cops in New York or Los Angeles. That’s the rule.

Oscar Isaac on If He'll Return to Star Wars: 'Probably Not' | Review: 'Briarpatch', USA' Network's Latest Drama, is Rosario Dawson's Sun-Drenched Neo-Noir
