America’s Got Talent on NBC at 8:00pm ET. 16th season premiere. The first round of auditions, which I tend to think of as the worst parts of these shows. Not only because they tend to be fairly tedious but because so much of them are more obviously staged than the rest of the series, it’s pretty obvious that not everyone who auditions for these shows gets in front of the celebrity judges and yet we’re supposed to believe that people who are horrible just happen to end up there? I realize that there’s likely a suspension of disbelief one should have here, but I just don’t like the show enough to grant it.

LEGO Masters on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Second season premiere.

The Legacy of Black Wall Street on OWN at 9:00pm ET. One-hour special presentation. We’re at the 100 year anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre so there have been more than a few shows or stories recognizing the event. This is ultimately a good thing, but I can’t help but be cynical that we wouldn’t see nearly as much about it this year if Watchmen hadn’t happened in 2019.

Superman & Lois on The CW at 9:00pm ET.

New Amsterdam on NBC at 10:01pm ET.
