Yesterday, Netflix released an exciting trailer for House of Cards. It’s super spoilery (for previous seasons, not future), sexy, and chock full of classic Underwood fourth-wall-breaking direct address. But LITERALLY NONE OF THAT MATTERS because another Kevin Spacey trailer was also released yesterday and this one deserves absolutely nothing less than 100% of your attention.

Honestly, what even is Elvis & Nixon? This trailer tells us it is a movie based on a photograph. It is an Amazon original but also a theatrical release? There are political mind games based around M&M’s and Dr. Pepper. It’s obviously super heavy on the jowl prosthetics and also features Michael Shannon in an ultra-disturbing Elvis wig. One of the co-writers is as-you-wish Carey Elwes! This very well may be the best and/or the worst thing to come out this year, and I think the logical guess is that it will somehow manage to be both simultaneously.
