Walt Disney screened this trailer last year at Comic-Con, which was footage originally shot by the director of TRON Legacy, Joseph Kosinski, to get the project greenlit. There’d be a bootleg version of the trailer all over the Internet, but it was of horrible quality. This is in HD, and gives you a fairly good idea of what TRON Legacy will look like, although I hope it’s more interesting than watching a couple of glow-in-the-dark motorcycles speed around a virtual world for two hours. If you hang in there for the trailer, though, you get some pretty neat footage of Jeff Bridges, who returns as Kevin Flynn.
In the sequel, Kevin Flynn’s son, Sam (Garret Hedlun), investigates the disappearance of his father and ends up getting sucked in to the same virtual world that his father has been living in for 25 years.
