Tom Hardy, Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Colin Firth are joined by Gary Oldman and Ciarán Hinds in Tomas Alfredson’s (the original Let the Right One In) adaptation of the John le Carré novel. It was a BBC series first (and the damn thing is still sitting on my DVD shelf in the shrink wrap). It might be difficult to pare this down to a regular-sized movie, but with this cast and this director, I’m betting it can be done. The teaser looks fantastic.
