The first trailer for the NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton has been released. Introduced by Dre and Ice Cube, the biopic will be a much-needed reminder that Ice Cube wasn’t always the family-film sell-out he’s become in the last couple of decades. If you’re wondering how they found an actor with such a strong likeness to Ice Cube, it’s because they hired his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr.

The trailer, by the way, looks timely, entertaining, and necessary.
