The trailer for Ari Folman’s (Waltz with Bashir) new movie The Congress, starring Robin Wright and Harvey Keitel is out and it’s… I mean… I don’t know, you guys. It looks weird as sh*t and so very, very cool. It’s like Being John Malcovich and Cool World had a baby, and that baby had sex with a naked, animated Jon Hamm.

Robin Wright plays Robin Wright, whose career hasn’t gone so well since The Princess Bride, more than 20 years ago. (And, from the trailer, that’s the only part of this story I know I understand 100%, so bear with me.) When she’s offered a chance to become immortalized by digitizing her likeness, her animated avatar goes viral and she…ends up having sex with an animated Jon Hamm. I dunno. That’s all I’ve got. See what you can make of it; I’ll be sitting here patiently until the release date of “Coming Soon.”

“Coming Soon,” by the way, seems to mean July 24th for the internet, later this fall for actual theaters.
