Now THAT's How You Sell A Corrupt Cop Comedy!

How do you make a comedy about police corruption in this political climate? It’s a tricky feat, but writer/director John Michael McDonagh managed it with aplomb by pulling together a truly inclusive cast boasting stellar comedic performers Michael Peña, Alexander Skarsgård, Tessa Thompson and Malcolm Barrett, then leaning hard into the kind of humor that demands the title War on Everyone.

We’ve been raving about McDonagh’s latest pitch-black comedy since it made us Overlords howl at SXSW. But I have to admit, the first trailer was a major disappointment, making War on Everyone seem like little more than Hollywood-level wild. But it’s so much more, more bonkers, more biting, more don’t give a fuck.

Thankfully, the film’s fast approaching UK release has resulted in a new NSFW trailer that finally gives audiences a true taste of the fucked up flavor of War on Everyone.

Saban Films secured U.S. distribution rights to War on Everyone. A release date Stateside has not yet been announced. But keep an eye out; by my count this is the best comedy of 2016.

Kristy Puchko laughed so hard at this movie, she left the theater hoarse.
