Netflix Unleashes the Cryptic and Unnerving Trailer for 'The OA'

Netflix’s newest hour-long series is The OA. The trailer and Instagram campaign are strange and intriguing, especially since this project was announced last year, largely forgotten, and all of the episodes will be available to stream this Friday, December, 16.

Brit Marling (series creator) plays Prairie Johnson. The blind Prairie went missing 7 years ago, only to return home with her sight restored. Prairie’s small town sees her newly gained sight as a blessing and a bafflement.

It looks like Stranger Things had a baby with Twin Peaks and then that baby had a baby with It Follows.

The OA stars Marling, Scott Wilson (The Walking Dead), Alice Krige (Silent Hill), Emory Cohen (Brooklyn), Phyllis Smith (The Office), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter and the ALL OF THEM), Patrick Gibson (The Tudors), and Brendan Meyer (The Guest).
