Melanie Lynskey has been a five freebie of mine for three or four years running now. Formerly Pauline Parker in Heavenly Creatures, Lynskey has taken the Parker Posey route through indiedom in recent years, including roles in Togetherness and a great movie that no one saw called Intervention.

Next up is the Netflix movie I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, which debuts on Netflix next month. In it, Lynskey plays Ruth, a shy, depressed woman who comes home one day to find that her home has been burglarized. With the help of her next-door neighbor (an almost unrecognizable Elijah Wood), Ruth decides to get herself some vigilante justice.

I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore will debut on Sundance before premiering on Netflix on February 24th.
