While playing beaming sweethearts onscreen, Katherine Heigl has developed a bad reputation off screen, trashing the titles that launched her (Knocked Up and Grey’s Anatomy) while taking on painfully stupid and sexist vehicles (The Ugly Truth, Life As We Know It). But with her latest movie, Heigl’s turning into the spin, giving us a psycho shrew we can all have fun with.
I’ve full on hated Heigl for a long-time for her hypocrisy. But I’ll be damned if this trailer for Home Sweet Hell isn’t tempting me to reconsider. Her cold demeanor works wonders for a seemingly perfect trophy wife with secret homicidal tendencies. And I’ll take Patrick Wilson in anything, thanks. Basically, a good comedy goes a long way with me.
Home Sweet Hell opens March 13th.
