Okay. Okay, I think I get it.

Kong: Skull Island is a goofy B-movie.

I’m sorry if this has been obvious to everyone already, but frankly I think some of the marketing thus far had been a little bit tonally confused.

But now that we have a steely-eyed, rugged-looking Hiddleston?

And a gormless ‘Is that a monkey?’ utterance in response to a skyscraper-sized ape?

And Hermit C. Reilly talking about ‘skullcrawlers’ cos it sounds neat and that’s a name he made up tryna scare ya?

Okay. I get it.

Goofy B-movie. Alright cool let’s roll with that.

Kong stomps into cinemas on March 10.
