Colin Firth Gets His Bond On: 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' Trailer

Just when you thought you couldn’t love Colin Firth, or Sam Jackson or Michael Caine more, they put on their finest duds and play spy games. One of my greatest weaknesses, gentlemen… Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class, Kick Ass, Stardust, Layer Cake) takes on the Mark Millar/Dave Gibbons comic, chronicling a spy agency’s process of recruitment. Firth plays dashing agent Jack Unwin, who shepherds a young lad played by Taron Egerton (The Smoke) (Wiki Spoiler, swipe to see: By their common last name, the boy would seem to be Uncle Jack’s nephew.) through the process. The trailer is full of cool gadgets (I want that umbrella!) and what looks to be a great comedic performance by Jackson, but clearly Firth is its most excellent star. He may never have played Bond, but by gum, Jack Unwin’s a new side of Firth I can’t wait to see.
