Are you riding high on Wonder Woman anticipation? Well the latest clip from Atomic Blonde might kick you into overdrive.
John Wick co-director David Leitch teams up with producer/star Charlize Theron to bring audiences one of the most jaw-dropping action films ever made. Atomic Blonde boasts a bevy of incredible stunt sequences, including a stairwell scene that had audiences at its SXSW debut cheering as if they were at a rock show. But for me, this one, where Theron’s stylish and tough-as-nails spy employs a hose for battery and escape, is my personal favorite.
Here’s Atomic Blonde’s official synopsis:
The crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission. Sent alone into Berlin to deliver a priceless dossier out of the destabilized city, she partners with embedded station chief David Percival (James McAvoy) to navigate her way through the deadliest game of spies.
Oh, look, and here’s a poster where my review is quoted. (3rd line down.)
Atomic Blonde opens July 28th. Don’t miss it.
