Attack The Block Poster and Trailer: Because Nick Frost Would Want You To See It

There’s not a hell of a lot left for me to say about Joe Cornish’s Attack The Block other than, “Go fucking see it.” It may not have been the best film of SXSW, but it was easily the most fun, something that Dustin, Seth and I were in complete agreement on (the same of which cannot be said of all the movies we saw together). It’s finally getting some attention, despite the silly rumors about it possibly being dubbed for American release (it’s in English, by the way), and of course the inevitable remake rumors. Now, the marketing push is beginning, starting with a poster courtesy of Slashfilm (click to enlarge):

I love the general layout, and the old school feel to it. I hate the tagline (“the inner city meets outer space”? Blech). I love the expression on Nick Frost’s face, which pretty much sums up his character. Here’s the trailer that Stephen posted last week:

“Too much madness to explain in one text.”

Seriously. Go see it when it comes out. You’ll thank me.
