Anna Kendrick is basically a living, breathing, singing, dancing porcelain doll. She already comes in miniature, and is so adorable that even when she’s at her surliest, it still looks like someone put eyeliner on a kitten.
So Kendrick’s career trajectory as of late has made a lot of sense. First she went musical.
Then she went Princess musical.
Next up: animated musical troll doll.
Yes, Dreamworks is planning an animated musical based on those naked big-haired troll dolls, slated for November 2016. She’ll be playing Poppy, who according to director Mike Mitchell, is a mix of “spirit, sass and song.” Mitchell directed Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, Shrek Forever After, and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo. Just so we’re all aware of what this thing is going to be.
Are we having fun yet?
