Tonight is the premiere episode of TNT’s six-part mini-series I Am the Night, directed by Wonder Woman’s Patty Jenkins. Chris Pine plays a former Marine turned reporter named Jay Singletary who lost credibility after too much speculation concerning George Hodel’s (Jefferson Mays) role in the 1947 Black Dahlia murder. When the young Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) arrives in Los Angeles in 1965, Singletary assists her in finding her biological family while reigniting his investigation with her grandfather.

Viewers will obviously recognize Pine from his role in Wonder Woman and various other blockbusters (along with co-star Connie Neilsen.) Eisley may seem familiar due to her previous roles as Ashley Juergens in The Secret Life of the American Teenager and as Eve in 2012’s Underworld: Awakening. However, in keeping with the storyline of I Am the Night, it may be her true parentage that makes viewers wonder if they’ve seen Eisley somewhere before.

The 25-year-old Eisley is the daughter of rocker David Glen Eisley and actress Olivia Hussey. Yes, the one in the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet.

As for Eisley’s father, you may remember his song “Sweet Victory” from the Spongebob Squarepants episode “Band Geeks”.
