Who Watches the 'Watchmen'? Patton Oswalt Does And Has Some Thoughts About It

Zack Snyder’s 2009 comic book movie Watchmen was widely criticized for being an adaptation of a supposedly unfilmable comic of the same name. It was also criticized for changing the ending, for the cast, the movie itself…I found it to be enjoyable in some parts (The Comedian come to life via Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and grating in other places (Malin Akerman as Silk Spectre II). Still, I would watch it again.

Patton Oswalt, known for his geekery and love of films, was in Jersey City at WORD Bookstore. Joining him, in what appears to be a Q&A session, was Patrick Wilson, AKA Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl in Watchmen. An audience member took this opportunity to ask Oswalt his thoughts on Watchmen. The result is in no way antagonistic or cringe-inducing. Both men are able to talk about their take on the film without feeling badly. I see both of their points.

I guess this is growing up?

Also, because I love you (not you), here is that scene Wilson mentions. DAT ASS.
