Tremors is a flawless movie from 1990 that starred Kevin Bacon, Reba McIntyre, Fred Ward, Michael Gross, and big wormy things filled with orange Kool-Aid and murder. Valentine “Val” McKee (Bacon) and Earl Bass (Ward) are just a couple of handymen working in Perfection, Nevada when the Tremors start stalking and killing the people of the town.
Like I said, MASTERPIECE. This glorious movie spawned four sequels that I’ve never bothered to watch and a short-lived television series I didn’t even know about until now. BUT NOW? Kevin Bacon is set to reprise his role as Val in another Tremors television series. Bacon will serve as executive producer and Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Productions will, well, produce.
Bacon broke the news on Twittert:
Me and @kyrasedgwick 9 months pregnant 26 years ago on the #Tremors set. Might be time to head back to Perfection pic.twitter.com/I7q92VyBWe

I’m breaking the news to you with his tweet and these wonderful reminders of the sweet-ass action that will hopefully be coming to our televisions very, very soon.
Ooooh, that’s the stuff.
