TK is clearly not around tonight, as he’s probably so busy celebrating the gifts from the Cinematic Gods today that he can probably no longer stand up straight. Dude’s probably passed out in his own glittery vomitus with a huge grin on his face. Indeed, three television EVENTS made themselves known to us today, and each must’ve hit TK like cotton candy jubilee!
First up, THR announced today that ’80s pop stars Debbie Gibson and Tiffany, who have each starred in their own wonderful SyFy film EVENT, will now be starring in the same SyFy original movie, Mega Python vs. Gatoroid.
Did you read that right? Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. Brilliant!
It’ll be the first time the two have ever appeared in a film together, and even better: In the script, the pair brawl at a party, then take matters outside into the swamp. Washed-Up ’80s Star swamp mud fight?
I’m a little dizzy.
Second, it is my understanding, via The Girl With the Curious Hair, that Prince Albert of Monaco is engaged to marry Charlene Wittstock, a former Olympic swimmer for South Africa in 2011. TK is from South Africa, so this has to be exciting news (I bet they know each other, too! Because don’t, like, all South Africans know each other? Dude: Do you know Charlize Theron and Dave Matthews, too?). And, of course, with a royal wedding in the works, there’s bound to be television coverage — nay, a television EVENT and you know TK is going to be up for real-time reviewing the biggest televised wedding since Princess Diana’s! Fingers crossed that he won’t be so swoony and light-headed that he’ll be able to compose complete sentences.
Are your feet tingling, too?
But it gets even better, and you don’t have to wait until 2011 for this. Next month, on July 19th, Jennifer Love Hewitt will star in her own Lifetime television EVENT. In the Lifetime original movie, she’ll play a mother who has to resort to the unthinkable to support her family: prostitution!
I absolutely cannot wait for TK’s review, and for a glimpse of what we can all look forward to, here’s the trailer for The Client List (via Filmdrunk).
