The Television Critics Association Gives Tatiana Maslany and "Bunheads" the Love They Deserve
While the Emmy voters sadly overlooked Tatiana Maslany’s powerful Orphan Black performance this year, and failed to even mention “Bunheads,” the Television Critic’s Association at least gave them the recognition they deserved, even if they had to cheat a little and slip “Bunheads” into the “Youth Programming Category.”
I have small quibbles with the awards (“Rectify” or “Top of the Lake” should’ve taken top honors for best new show over “The Americans”) and “Big Bang Theory” shouldn’t have taken best comedy (although, it’s a tie with the much deserving “Parks and Recreation”), but overall, it’s probably the best list of winners we could possibly expect.
