This summer, Alden Ehrenreich was announced as the young Han Solo in the planned prequel spin-off movie. There was word that Donald Glover was being eyed as the young Lando Calrissian, but other than that, not much has been let out. (Like who will play the young Chewie?? THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW.)

Now, though, Variety has a rumored shortlist for the movie’s female lead and holy wow, it’s a lot of pretty in one place. Like, this amount of gorgeous compacted into one space should come with a warning or something. Here are the names being floated right now:

Tessa Thompson

Zoe Kravitz

Naomi Scott

I’m not familiar with Scott (she was in The 33, and I totally don’t remember her from The Martian, but the internet swears she was in it), but her profile is about to rise as the Pink Power Ranger. As for Zoe Kravitz, she’s stellar in everything (and she’s having a banner year with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), but really I just want Tessa Thompson to be in everything. Between this and Thor: Ragnarok, she would reach Oscar Isaac levels of ubiquity and there is literally nothing wrong with that idea.

There’s no word on who this character will be, but the internet seems to be leaning towards the idea of Sana Solo (nee Starros), who, in the Star Wars comics, is Han’s technical wife. (They were married as part of a robbery scam and things got… complicated.)
