"The Daily Show" Takes CNN to Task for Their Tactless Unbelievable Insensitivity

So, I was watching “The Daily Show” last night, after Mitt Romney’s blow-out in New Hampshire basically meant that my entire Tuesday night was ruined because there would be no drama, embarrassing or otherwise. It’s always something of a letdown on election nights because Jon Stewart pre-tapes, which means that I don’t have an opinion about the winners and losers until the next night, because obviously — as a libtard sheep — I am incapable of independent thought. Anyway, I was kind of snoring through the first segment, and didn’t expect much from the second one when Ashleigh Banfield shows up and my ears perked.

I’ve had a crush on Banfield for years: She was like the Lisa Loeb of MSNBC back in the 90s, but now she’s on a new CNN show, “Early Start” which airs from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. And those wacky ladies on “Early Start” thought it’d be fun to cold call an important person at 5 a.m., wake her up, and ask her some questions. They randomly chose Kerry Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy’s daughter, whose displeasure with being phoned at 5 in the goddamn morning could’ve only been compounded by the HORRIBLY INAPPROPRIATE LINE OF QUESTIONING.

Take it from here, Jon. Warning: Your Soul May Cringe.
