The Coen Brothers' Cast For 'Hail, Caesar!' Is So Good, It Just Feels Like It's Bragging

News of the Coen Brothers’ next movie, Hail, Caesar has been slowly dripping out for a few months now, and my god do those guys know how to put together a cast. If you’re not familiar with the movie yet, take a look at this press release that came out today:

Four-time Oscar®-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men, True Grit, Fargo) write and direct HAIL, CAESAR!, an all-star comedy set during the latter years of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson and Jonah Hill, HAIL, CAESAR! follows a single day in the life of a studio fixer who is presented with plenty of problems to fix.
The movie has also gotten a release date of February 5, 2016. Word is that the Charmingest Potato will play a “Gene Kelly-esque actor” (dancing!), Ralph Fiennes will play a studio director named Laurence Lorenz, and the Goddess Swinton will play “a powerful gossip columnist.” I see some fast-paced walk-and-talks in our future. And given the era, if I were a betting woman, I’d put good money on seeing Clooney in a fancy hat.
