Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice already has Batman, Superman, Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, and Lois Lane, so why not bring in another superhero to ensure that the Zack Snyder film is less of a movie and more of a commercial for the eventual Justice League film.
The man set to play Aquaman? Jason Momoa (pictured above, during his Baywatch years), who kind of frittered away all that capital he built up on Game of Thrones with two box-office duds, the Conan the Barbarian reboot and as the villain in Sylvester Stallone’s Bullet to the Head. He can now be seen on Sundance’s The Red Road, though it is my understanding that few have actually seen him there.
I’m guessing the role will be minimal for now (and introduction, of sorts), and at the very least, with Momoa on board, he at least has something more to fall back on other than the ability to swim really fast and breathe underwater because, as we all know, the most insidious of the criminal element hangs out at the bottom of the ocean. He can beat them close to death with his muscles, then throw them in the water to finish them off.
