Great show, great opening number, great host, and some deserving winners (and some even more deserving winners who didn’t win (sorry Ben Mendelsohn and Jonathan Banks)). The big winners were Veep, Transparent, Game of Thrones, Olive Kittredge and Jon Hamm, who finally took home a win after eight tries (Mad Men remained otherwise shut out, eight years running, in the acting categories). Viola Davis, Uzo Aduba and Jeffrey Tambor gave the best speeches, and John Oliver was the night’s best presenter.
