OK, let’s back up for a minute. In 2013, James Wan directed The Conjuring starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren. That film spawned a spin-off, Annabelle, featuring a creepy doll from the film. There was also a sequel, Conjuring 2 (again starring Wilson and Farmiga), which itself spawned another spin-off called The Nun, which stars Vera Famiga’s sister, Taissa Farmiga, although I do not believe the two characters are related (Taissa plays a nun in 1952 while Vera plays a paranormal investigator in 1970s, although I suppose it’s possible — because I don’t remember the details of The Conjuring movies that much — that Sister Irene ends up becoming Lorraine Warren’s mother, which might be cool).

Anyway, the point is this: There’s a trailer for The Nun that is being attached as a preroll advertisement for a lot of YouTube videos, and some people are mad about it, for reasons that are self-evident (watch closely, and you’ll understand why).
So, either you’ve seen that and you weren’t bothered, or you haven’t seen it and you weren’t bothered, or you haven’t seen it and you hate me, because that’s how a lot of people feel about that trailer.
IF I SEE THE NUN TRAILER POP UP AS ANOTHER AD WHEN IM WATCHING YOUTUBE IMMA THROW HANDS. IM TIRED OF GETTING SCARED IN THE MIDDLE OF A JAMES CHARLES VIDEO

Personally, I thought it was fun because I am a child. Also, honestly, I’m with this guy. If I’m gonna be mad at The Nun, it’s not gonna be because of that jump-scare, it’s gonna be because of this:
I’m not seeing THE NUN movie on principle, because they had an opportunity to use the tagline “one bad habit deserves another” and didn’t
