OK, fine. It doesn’t look that bad, but Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) kind of cheats his way around a found-footage film by having his character (Ethan Hawke) find footage, which then becomes the central horror narrative of the film. It’s found-footage within a B-horror movie. Or something like that.
The real terror here is what happened to Vincent D’Onofrio: He looks like a badger.
